This evening I lost my temper with the kids as I was putting them to bed. None of them were calming down so I could read and they kept getting out of bed. I went hardest on Louisa and she didn’t deserve it. I had been set off by something she had done that turned out to be not a big deal at all and I couldn’t get myself back under control.
After leaving their room in a huff, I told Bethany what had happened and that I feel bad that I ended the day like that. She encouraged me to go and apologize so I did. As I was apologizing, Margaret wrote me this note and it just made my heart swell.
